いつの間にかレーマーの名前が外れて Britax に統一されてたんですか!?
ということで長女さんがすくすくとそれはもう可愛く成長されていて、ついにチャイルドシートを卒業しても大丈夫なサイズになったのでジュニアシートを買うことになりました。例によって正規輸入品を買うと高く付くので eBay で長男さんのジュニアシートを買ったセラーから買おうかと思ったのですが、どうもジュニアシートの取り扱いをやめちゃったみたいなので新たに ISOFIX なジュニアシートを日本に発送してくれるセラーを探したのでした。
セラーは見つかったのですが、 Ships to worldwide となってるワリに日本への送料が書いてない。ので拙い英語で

とか聞いてみると
the shipping cost is 65,- Euro to Japan.
とのこと。ユーロかよ! とは思ったのだけどそれでも正規輸入品を買うより(ry なのでクリック。すかさず支払いしようと思ったら eBay さんが送料設定されてないから支払いできないよ、と仰るので再び問い合わせ…

ということで支払い手続きが出来るようになりました。…向こうからの連絡を見る限り、こっちからのリクエストももっと簡潔でいいんでしょうね。
なお送料がユーロで連絡されたわりに eBay 上ではポンドでの請求で本体 GBP110.31, 送料 GBP44.00 の合計 GBP154.31 。ここから更に日本円にされて JPY20,279 + JPY8,089 の合計 \28,368 でした。 1 ポンド 183.8 円ってレートでしょうか。

しかし今回はほぼ同時に UPS で米国発送のものもあったので、 UPS の底力を見せつけられた感じ。送料違うから当然っちゃ当然ですけど、じゃあお前その値段で運べよって言われたら絶対嫌なので、我慢します。というか前回はドイツの通関から 2 週間ぐらい音沙汰がなかったことを考えると今回はだいぶ改善されているなぁとか思うのでした。
あ、そうそう、通関の際に税金がかかるので総支払額は本体 \20,279 + 送料 \8,089 + 税金 \900 の \29,268 でした。個人輸入でこの値段だと正規輸入品や並行輸入品の値段は妥当かなぁ、と思いますね(説得力ないけどw。
